L'Ifremer at the World Festival of Underwater Pictures, because images are vital scientific data

The 38th World Festival of Underwater Pictures will be held from 26 to 30 October at the Palais du Pharo in Marseilles, France. Open to the general public, this festival is a meeting place for sea enthusiasts and those passionate about the imaging arts. IFREMER, partner of this event, has set up a stand (no. 58) and offers a porthole on the sea with exceptional photographs and videos of the deep sea taken by underwater vehicles and coastal seabeds captured by IFREMER’s audio-visual department. At IFREMER, images occupy a vital role and contribute more and more to scientific data acquisition and research activities.
