Sea bass tagging campaign in the Iroise Sea: first assessment
In August and September 2010, Ifremer and the Iroise Natural Marine Park conducted a sea bass tagging campaign to better study and understand the individual movements of this species and the patterns of migration among populations, particularly those living in the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay. Two types of electronic tags were tested during the campaign: acoustic tags and archive tags, the first of their kind to be tested in France on this species in Atlantic and Channel waters.
