Discover the “Blue science, the colour of overseas France” exhibit from 25 May to 12 September 2011 at the National Marine Museum in Paris

As part of the Year of Overseas France and in partnership with Ifremer , the National Marine Museum is hosting a 150 m2 exhibit of images that offer a panoramic view of Ifremer's activities overseas and the wealth of resources in these territories.

Showcase of yesterday’s, today’s and tomorrow’s maritime affairs, the National Marine Museum is housing the ‘Blue Sciences, the colour of overseas France’ exhibit from 25 May until 12 September. Featuring researchers and technicians in action, technological equipment and instruments, marine species, etc., these images offer the public a window on Ifremer’s activities overseas. Along with panels and videos, some thirty photographs help raise awareness on environmental problems and highlight how men and women work in service to marine sciences. [...]
