PhD subjects 2020 : join Ifremer's future PhD students
Have you always dreamed of doing research? Don't miss the PhD sujects offered by Ifremer for the year 2020. Interested students, engineers or holders of a Master 2 or equivalent degree, are invited to directly send their application to the thesis director. They will benefit from a remunerated contract for a maximum of 3 years.
Ifremer offers PhD topics within its scientific departments and the French Oceanographic Fleet. Among the proposed research topics, the selected PhD students will work, for example, on food peptides, the bone development of fish or the development of an operational ecosystem model applied to the fisheries of the Gulf of Lion. They will also be called upon to study the impact of internal solitary waves on the sedimentary dynamics of the Bay of Biscay or to improve the modelling of benthic ecosystems based on functional traits. In another type of field, they will also be able to work on an intelligent localization system for the navigation of underwater robots.
These doctoral contracts are a real opportunity to work on Ifremer's priority themes. They entitle the holder to a gross monthly salary of 1900 euros for a period of 3 years, which cannot be combined with other scholarships.
